the Hava NaGrilla Festival Beer Garden Lineup!

We will be pouring a variety of beers from 3 great craft breweries in our Hava NaGrilla beer garden: Conshohocken Brewing, Shmaltz Brewing and Cartesian Brewing.

There will be something for every beer lover at the Hava NaGrilla Smoke BBQ event!

Conshohocken Brewing is a fast-growing local brewery with brewpubs on the bike trail in Conshohocken and in Bridgeport, with new locations under construction in Phoenixville and Havertown.  They also have great distribution of their cans in the area.

You can try a variety of their amazing beers including kegs of 4 different beers that range from a rich and malty English style ESB to a hoppy American IPA to a refreshing and tart blueberry berliner weiss!

They will come well stocked to our event with extra kegs along with “jockey boxes” and keg buckets for their pouring, as well as a team to pour their beers and hand out information about the brewery.

We are super excited about having Cartesian Brewing on board!  They will be opening a location in South Philadelphia in September with a concept of local, small batch, one-of-a-kind beers.

Our event will be a unique opportunity to experience these beers before they are available to the general public.

Anyone who is the least bit into beers will want to check out Cartesian’s offerings.  They will be bringing a “pony keg” of each of their 3 styles.  The founder of the brewery and an associate will be pouring the beer and available to answer any questions about the brewery.

Finally, Shmaltz Brewing from Albany, NY will be bringing 12oz cans of two of their offerings – Slingshot (themed on the David and Goliath story) and an offering from their Alphabet City brand (a small brand based in NY’s Lower East side).

Slingshot is a craft version of an American lager – perfect for the casual beer drinker who typically drinks Bud or Corona or Coors Light.  The Alphabet City beer will be appropriate for the more adventurous craft beer drinker.
Jeremy Cowen, the founder and owner of Shmaltz and a bit of a rock star in the craft beer industry, will be here with plenty of each of the two styles.  Jeremy will also bring his book and t-shirts to sell, with all profits being donated to us!
